the two of you began to make a family,
swearing that neither of you would ever be alone again.
Your wife gave birth to two beautiful twin sons.
The dreams of grandchildren and community got the best of you.
They made you promise your first girl to the eldest.
Everyone dreams of living peacefully with loving family.

Oh stupid teenage love and the stupid things it makes them do.
He lied with her even though she was to be his brothers
and then they killed for their so-called love.
They say you would've never understood and that it was the only way they could be together.
What do they know of love and sacrifice and seeing their sons die?
They're only stupid kids, they know nothing, nothing at all.
You will show them that pain, so you throw them out screaming,
“I will raise up a kingdom to kill all your descendants,
so live your lives knowing all children born of your love will die by my hand.”
So build your walls and live the rest of your life as king of all that's inside of them.
Tell all your sons and daughters that anyone who wanders outside them is evil.
Live the rest of your life knowing that one day a brave king will come along and
lead a crusade against the wicked barbarians outside the safety of the kingdom.
This witch hunt will be your revenge, so lead a crusade.

|
“We must expand” said the brave king to his loyal subjects,
“these walls have become much too small for us,
they are more of a plague than protection.
We must kill those who would kill us first for the sake of our wives and children
we must become the walls to protect them.”
So the soldiers marched out to expand their overpopulated kingdom
They marched to exterminate the evil ones, those with wicked blood.
After days and days of walking they finally found a village
They were taken in as brothers and were cared for and fed
the wicked ones in an instant became the peaceful, loving ones.
Upon hearing their report the king's eyes flickered with lust for power
He ordered their enslavement and the slaughter of any who resisted.
the brave king in an instant became the greedy, evil one.
All the same orders are orders and must be followed through with.
The kingdom must become an empire, even though it all seems wrong.
And so they returned to their newfound brothers
this time they were met with terror and screaming
as they killed the men who tried to save those they love.
The women, children, and weak willed men were imprisoned
So that they could later either be executed or become slaves.
And then the soldiers went forward from village to village
and as they walked on, death and fear walked with them.
